General Information
- St. Kilians Senior National School opens to pupils at 8:50am and finishes at 2:30pm. There is no supervision of pupils outside of these hours.
- The support of parents/guardians of school policies and procedures is essential for the provision of a positive learning environment for all our pupils. Parents are welcome to view all our school policies.
- Visitors to the school are welcome but must use the main door and report to the school secretary in the reception area. There is absolutely no unannounced access to classrooms.
- Parent/Teacher meetings are held in November. All meetings are by appointment only. This ensures that we can give you our full attention and disruption to teaching time is reduced.
- All absences must be explained in writing by a parent/guardian.
- All pupils require a hand towel for use in school.
- Our school actively encourages healthy lunches. Chewing gum is forbidden.
- Homework should be reasonably attempted and on completion the homework diary should be signed.
- Please inform the school immediately if any of your contact details change.
- Booklists are issued in June. The school operates a book rental scheme.
- Monies for educational equipment, etc. are collected in September. Pupils must have all indicated requisites on the first day of term.
