Christmas in Ms Stapleton’s 3rd!

We have had lots of fun doing many pieces of winter and Christmas art this month!

Here are some of them- we made gingerbread men and designed a gingerbread village. We also made some air dough decorations for our class tree. We made snowflakes out of paper bags. We also wrote some winter acrostic poems in pairs. We have also written lots of Christmas sentences as Gaeilge using our Gaeilge verbs that we have worked on since September.

Light Up the Season with Kindness – each child wrote an example of an act of kindness on each lightbulb.
JOY! – Each class wrote examples of what brings them joy on the letters shown above.
Mindful Christmas Tree Decorations – the children enjoyed some mindfulness colouring of baubles to help decorate the school Christmas tree in reception.
We have an attitude of Gratitude – each class completed their own attitude of gratitude poster with examples of what they are grateful for.
Visits to the Sensory Room – each class got an opportunity to visit the calm and peaceful sensory room.
