Mr. Dignam’s 5th Class – Think Big Space in Tallaght

On the 30th of March, 2022, we went to Think Big Space in Tallaght. We walked up to the LUAS stop and took the LUAS. We walked until we found the place and we went upstairs. We sat down and learned all about robotics and coding for about 30 minutes. Then we got to do some building. We all got to build a robot named Milo who looked a bit like the Mars Rover. Then we had to program our robot using coding on the tablets that we were given, motors and motion sensors. It was a lot of fun but it was too short. At the end, we were given goodie bags with portable chargers, water bottles and lots more. At 12 o’clock, we headed back to school. By Wajih and Síofra

Daffodil Day

On Friday 25th of March we wore yellow to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. We raised a very generous €524. Many thanks to all the students and staff for participating in this very worthy fundraising event.
