Mr. Kenny’s 4th Class – Pablo Picasso inspired

South Dublin County Council along with Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council have organised this 8 week programme targeting 5th & 6th Class students in schools in Fingal and Dublin City.
Students will perform four running sessions each week inching them closer to completing their first marathon as well as learning about the benefits of physical activity.
The finale will see the students running their last mile and completing the marathon at the National Cross Country Course located at the National Sports Campus in Dublin 15.

3rd & 4th class will be running to the Aviva over the next coming weeks in their fitness challenge. The Aviva Stadium is 21km from St. Kilian’s Senior School. This is almost the same distance as a half marathon. The children will complete 500 metres a day for 40 days. The emphasis is to improve everyone’s overall fitness and health.

Well done to Ms. Stapleton’s 3rd Class who completed the Road to Tokyo challenge.
Students logged their activity to their class team and travelled virtually to Tokyo with Team Ireland with the chance to enjoy the challenges on the way.

Mr. Dignam’s 5th class enjoyed a virtual trip to the “ARK Theatre” to watch a live streamed play by Shaun Dunne called “What did I miss?”
