Maths Week Report by Alexa, Ms Reilly’s 6th Class
For Maths week we did loads of different types of things.
We did a Maths quiz with all the three sixth classes. It was fun. There were loads of stages but we did things like adding fractions and seeing how many jugs of oil could fill a car by adding the numbers in our head. We did an Ed Sheeran one where we had to guess his age, they gave us when he was born and then 2022 we had to guess in between those two years, that was fun.
We also played board games and there was things like bingo and there were shapes like triangles and squares (tangrams) and we had to make a big square out of those shapes. We had lots of fun with that and my favourite one was the tangram one because it was challenging but in the end I eventually got it.
