Ms Reilly’s 6th Class Stress Balls

 Stress Balls

For science we made stress balls. It was a balloon with sand in it.

We made it to give us our resting beat, which is when our heart beats slow down.

This is how we made it and this is what you need to make it:

  • Balloon
  • Sand
  • Pencil
  • Markers
  • Empty plastic bottle

1.Ask an adult to cut the bottom off the plastic bottle.

2.Inflate the balloon and then let the air out again.

3.Pull the opening of the balloon over the neck of the bottle.

4.Fill the funnel of the bottle with sand.

5.Use a pencil to push the sand into the balloon until it is almost full.

6.Remove the funnel and tie the balloon.

7.Using markers, decorate the balloon with faces or any design that appeals to you.

8.Enjoy relaxing with your stress ball!
